Marc van Wageningen (1969) started his career in direct marketing at Proximity Worldwide, followed by stints at PPGH/JWT, TBWA\TEQUILA, &KS and OgilvyAction.
In June 2006 he launched a blog called directdaily with the mission to showcase the world’s best of direct marketing and engaging advertising work, which he categorises and updates daily. Directdaily is to provide inspiration and perhaps even broaden your horizons and give you a new perspective on your profession.
Through his conviction that activation will take a bigger role in communication more and more, Marc decided to set up directdaily/projects. From where he can be hired as a freelance creative, to do projects in the area of direct marketing and consumer activation. If needed Marc can bring his creative partner to handle projects on a team-basis.
Marc has won more awards than many, but way less than some, including at the Dutch Art Directors Club (ADCN), Dutch DMA Awards (Esprix), Effie Awards, EACA Euro Effie, IMC European Awards, Echo Awards, London International Awards, the New York Festivals, ANDY Awards, Cannes Lions and the Eurobest Awards.
Marc has been a jury member at the Dutch DMA Awards (Esprix), New York Festivals, Eurobest Awards and John Caples International Awards.
